- Answer When you set up your AeroGarden with a programmable menu, the garden will maintain a light and pump cycle that is optimal for the type of plant you have growing. Light Cycles depending on Plant Type: Flowers: 15.5 hours per day Salads: 16.5 hours per day Herbs: 17 hours per day Fruiting Vegetables (such as Tomatoes or Peppers): 16 hours per day If you are growing in an AeroGarden Harvest with three buttons on the front, the light cycle is 15 hours per day and the pump cycle is 5 minutes every 25 minutes. If you are growing in an AeroGarden Sprout, the light cycle is 16 hours per day and the aerator runs while the light is on. - Answer The plant life depends on the type of plant that you're growing, along with proper care. We've had some customers that have had plants that they nurtured for years on end in their Aerogardens. Herbs, generally, last about 4-6 months. AeroGardens do best when kept in an environment with temperatures between 65-75°F, and away from direct sources of heat or cold. Your garden does not need additional light or a sunny window. In fact, too much direct sunlight can overheat your plants and cause them to wilt. The AeroGarden Light provides the full spectrum of light plants need to photosynthesize and grow. QuestionHow do you replace the LED lights in this hood? I have owned mine for two years now and only about half of the bulbs are still working (they started dying after about 6 months). None of the blue lights work anymore.

QuestionI wanted to order the Elite slim AeroGarden but it was out of stock. So I ordered this one my question is can I grow the cherry tomatoes I ordered with this and any other vegetables? And how high does the light go up and how tall is my maximum to grow?

- Answer Yes, you can grow vegetables in your Aerogarden, but please keep in mind that vegetable plants do require more room to be productive. The Harvest model has up to 12 inches of grow height. - Answer You can get pods for your own seeds. I don't think they come in the original box, but they are available here at BestBuy.

- Answer LEDs do NOT take up a lot of electricity, 2-3 volts usually. Also, the power adapter is only 12V @ 1 Amp.
