Is the Microphone voice activated null

No. You need to hold down the button on the left side to activate the voice commands.

Sadly it is not. You will have to activate the microphone on the phone first to talk. But it does pick up vocals and sounds a lot easier and better than your phone would. (For example you could yell out “hey Siri” once Siri activates then you can just talk normally through the headset.)

Not that I'm aware of I do not believe it is voice activated but is activated but there is a button on the side the left side more pacifically that 1 tap then you can start speaking voice commands and it will respond
