A: I would strongly advise against buying this product if you plan to take it outside the continental United States. I bought the Aiper Scuba L1 while living in Hawaii, and it quit working within 10 minutes of the very first use. When I tried to get warranty service, Aiper told me they would not honor the warranty because I live in Hawaii — even though Hawaii is part of the United States. They said they could only send a replacement to a mainland U.S. address and would not ship directly to me. That means there is absolutely no warranty coverage outside the continental U.S. If they won’t even support a U.S. state, you can imagine how little help you’ll get in another country. As for charging or using 220V power, you’d need a proper voltage converter, but that won’t solve the bigger issue — if anything goes wrong, you’ll have no support and no warranty service at all. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend taking this product overseas or buying it if you can’t get warranty support inside the continental United States.
