Yes, very fast system. Son uses the full Adobe Suite and has no issues. Easy to upgrade with memory or SSD drives.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, the 1080 card is good for playing games at 2k and fair at 4k, but doing smooth fast video editing is a different thing, especially at 4k. You'd need to upgrade the ram to at least 32mb and invest in a high end video card such as a tesla or quaddro, these cards themselves cost more than the Alienware R5, so at that point just build one from the ground up.
