  • QuestionWhat about cooling system does it overheat ?

    • Answer There are 3 cooling fans: top, back, and bottom. Also one on the GPU. I haven't had overheating issues. Alienware has software monitoring the Temps and regulate the speed of the fans (which has manual override also). Because of the size of the fans, if the Temps rise the fans speed up. At 100% the fans are really loud (tried with manual). But with auto regulation I've never reached 100% with pretty heavy usage, but you can hear the speeds changing, but for me it's not bothersome, and fast speeds really cool the temps. So overall it's a good cooling system.

    • Answer This will absolutely work in 4k. System comes with 16GB of RAM and I'm able to play even games like Guild Wars 2 in 4k on high graphic settings smoothly. I currently run 2 4k monitors so you should be fine.

    • Answer Yes, very fast system. Son uses the full Adobe Suite and has no issues. Easy to upgrade with memory or SSD drives.

  • QuestionDoes it have an HDMI port?

    • Answer Yes, the GTX 1080 card has (1) HDMI, (1) DVI & (3) Display Ports. The motherboard does have (1) Display Port for the Intel integrated graphics (that is only important if you didn't have the GTX card installed). Another note, if you plan to use the Oculus Rift with this graphics card it will require that (1) HDMI to drive the headset.
