Yes, the ram isn't soldered in. They are removable.

Upgraded to 64GB with no issues. Installed 2 x 32GB GSkill 32GB modules. Runs like a champ!

Yes, the RAM couod be upgraded up to 32 GB.

I haven’t pulled them out of this unit but I have owned a boatload of Alienware computers and all have been removable. One of their selling points is the ability to upgrade their computers. So I can’t say for sure but I’d give heavy odds you can swap them out.
