- Answer Yes it can, when plugged in it charges. It can play plugged in or on battery.

QuestionHow do you connect two of these speakers together please explain how to connect two of these speakers together? Do you need a cable to connect two of them together playing from one device?

- Answer Hi there - you do not need a cable to connect the two of them. You can pair two SoundRovers doing the following: 1. Turn the first speaker on and pair it to a compatible Bluetooth device. 2. Press and hold the Bluetooth/Pair button on the first speaker for two seconds. ‘HOST’ will appear on the display screen indicating it is the main speaker. 3. Turn on the second speaker. Press the Bluetooth/Pair button and ‘BT’ will appear on the display screen. When this appears the first speaker will automatically connect to the second speaker. 4. To disconnect the True Wireless function press the Bluetooth button on either speaker.

- Answer Not sure about the type of portable speaker you have but, once it fully charged with it own power cord, you can remove it and the battery life lasts for hours so you wouldn't need the portable charger.
