Can this speaker play without being plugged in? null

Yes it can, when plugged in it charges. It can play plugged in or on battery.

This speaker will need to be plugged in for a bit in order to hold a charge.... i believe it holds about 6hrs of wireless play....its a good speaker that connects to blue tooth and it also has am/fm stereo.......also comes with a mic you can plug into the speaker
