Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't used It sitting in a chair however, when lying in bed...been sick...I works great. You can adjust it so many ways that you can fit your legs under the laptop and bring it as close to you as needed. Just remember, when the computer is lying on the fan portion the fan will stop workings. But, it's an easy fix..put the sticky clear bumpers you put on the pack of a painting or other item that raises it just enough to give clearance for fan to work and flow with no problem. I don't know about Best Buys return policy on this item, I've never had a problem with this company on making good on any product.
