Read the directions that come with the transmitter to pair a device and re-read the directions of whatever bluetooth device (headphones I am guessing) as the receiver for pairing.

A:AnswerIf your tv is turning off audio when this gets plugged in then it will do that with anything that is plugged into the 3.5 mm input. The only way to fix this would be to buy another tv that doesn't automatically turn off the speaker and can handle audio through speakers and input.
A:AnswerI use it with Sony headphones and I had to shut down all my other Bluetooth transmitting connections (like my iPhone) that are in range to get it to connect. I think the problem is the headphones, not the transmitter. They gravitate to strongest pairing source (which in my case is the iPhone). If I shut down Bluetooth on the iPhone, the headphones pair with the transmitter. So don't clean up your list, just turn off the other sources.
