“Is there delay and does it work with AirPods or Beats solo 3?”

I've tried 3 different pairs of headphones with this product. Their average cost is about $40. They all perform the same. There is a very noticeable delay on broadcast TV and a less but still noticeable delay on cable TV and prerecorded DVDs. But for audio only this is a very good product.
