A:AnswerYes, this is an ATSC tuner. However, we returned this equipment to Best Buy because it did not work for us. Our old tuner actually performed better than this one.
That doesn't mean it will not work for someone else.
A:AnswerGood question. Extremely irritating and I am aware of no adjustment for it.. I tossed that box and got different one. Often it is issue with the transmitter end. News anchors working at home on internet feeds can be way out of phase.
A:AnswerI'm not sure if you have too. I do have rabbit ears for my TV. You might, if you live out in the country. I live on the outskirts of the town & sometimes the channels don't always come in clear.
A:AnswerAs far as this unit goes, whatever antenna works with your TV will work the same way with this unit. It has the 75 ohm jack in from antenna 75 ohm male plug cable & another 75 ohm jack out to the TVs 75 ohm jack, connected with a double male plug 75 ohm cable
