Yes it works with Mac and Windows

It is advertised as working with Mac. I didnt get a chance to try it because it didnt come with the correct cable. You will need to provide your own cable. It only comes with a PC compatible cable. The camera has a Micro USB jack so you will need a Micro USB to USB C in the case of the Mac Air.
