Yes.. You can hear the sound still coming thru your TV speakers and also with your BT headsets. If it is only you listening then turn the sound for your TV down. It not it will work both ways at the same time. I have had Aluratek transmitters for years and just upgrades to the new ABC53F because of my new smart TV.
