“Will the tv recognize the remote at factory restore settings I lost the original that came with the tv,Purchased one that it was working but when I reset the tv to factory settings it does not recognize it”

Hi Albert! I have had good luck getting my remotes to work right again by holding the Home button until the top of the remote starts to flash yellow, then pointing it at the TV and using it like I normally would. If that isn't working, I would try using the Fire TV App on your phone or tablet to use the Settings menu to pair it up. To do that: Go to Settings on your Fire TV. Select Controllers & Bluetooth Devices. Select Amazon Fire TV Remotes. Press and hold the Home button for 10 seconds to pair your remote. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You have to do pairing and set up thru the tv options. If you don't pair it thru the tv. It would not recognize it. Hopefully this would help.
