Hi Kris, This remote is just a replacement remote for someone who already owns a Fire TV Stick, Stick Lite, 4K or Cube. It will not work unless you already have one of those or an older version. Each devices has its own differences, such as with the Fire TV Stick Lite does not offer power and volume control on the remote, and the regular Fire TV stick does. The 4K version offers the ability to watch available 4K content on a 4K TV, and the Fire TV cube offers several benefits, such as hands free control as it has the ability of an Echo Dot all built into one device, control of most all home theater devices through the IR controller, as well as 4K capability.
