A:AnswerI didn't find the case for mine at Best Buy, where I purchased the tablets. Had to go to Amazon. You will search for the case specific to your tablet name & size. If I remember correctly, this is 10.1", but search by the name and you will have the proper results. I had to buy cases for children, but there were a lot of other options for adults. For myself, I prefer something (child-like) with lots of rubber on the edges, in case of drops and I like the shoulder strap, as well.
A:AnswerHi Teresa,
A quick search has shown that the library system offers downloadable eBooks and audio books through the Northeast Texas Digital Consortium, powered by OverDrive (this app is available on the Fire Tablet). Ebooks from OverDrive can be checked out, downloaded and transferred to an eReader like the Kindle, or the kindle application!
A:AnswerHi Ace,
I'm not certain of the question being asked however, you can use this tablet on the go. It does not have cellular capability built in but if you have a device that has a hotspot available you can utilize that to provide internet (check with your cellular provder first for terms and conditions) Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello, coffeehead! The Fire HD 10 Tablet does not have the Firefox or Duck Duck Go Browsers available for download in the Appstore.
Currently, display mirroring is not possible with the Fire Tablets. I hope that helps answer your questions! Have a great day!
A:AnswerNot a dumb question. The answer is it depends on the size of the books and what else is loaded onto your tablet. For books a tablet can be noticeably slower than a dedicated e-reader, and battery life will be shorter. Best of both worlds? Maybe, but also worst of both worlds. For as much time as you'd spend reading a book I find the 10" Fire too heavy to be held comfortably and too big to be conveniently portable.
A:AnswerYes. The wifi is easy yo connect to. The cases come in a variety of functions like kick stands. It's also pretty durable, I've dropped it a few times!!
A:AnswerHi Mike,
The sound quality on this is pretty impressive. It does have stereo speakers on it and can handle Dolby Atmos audio. You can pair it to different speakers if you wish as well via the bluetooth that is built in. Hope this helps!
A:AnswerIf you hook it up to a receptacle with the supplied charger, takes less than an hour to get a full charge on it. As far as battery life while gaming, surfing, etc, I can usually go close to 3 full days of playing before it needs a charge.
