You can browse the internet right out of the box with SIlk browser which is Amazon's browser. If you prefer to use the Google browser, need Google play store apps or get gmail directly on the tablet, you need to side load the Google play store. There are numerous UTube instructions to do so. Basically 4 files are downloaded/opened in a particular order to get it on the tablet. I do not have experience with remote learning.on it but i have done an online class and Duo video chats with it and it worked.
