I'd personally go with the Echo not dot and definitely not the Vizio sound bar. These are two separate entities in general. Yamaha makes a great sound bar. The echo is a standalone speaker and does not work like a soundbar.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Echo is a pretty great speaker but I guess it depends how into music you are. The Echo works great in a 600 SF open room and has really good quality. The Echo Dot does not have the same speaker capability but tied to any other speaker works great. Keep in mind that if the speaker you attach a Dot to is not powered on at all times, you will not be able to hear any responses from Alexa.
