I used logitech harmony hub to control my tv and sound bar. You need to add harmony skill in alexa app for it to work then create a group to access your tv seamlessly. Works for me.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does when using Anymote a Andoid App that will control any Tv, receiver or cable box. Just set it up and say Alexa, Open Anymote and then any commands that are available on the unit will be available through Alexa. You just need to make sure your Android device is within range of the item you are trying to control and that your Android device supports IR which most do.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You would need smart plugs.i tried it with just my tv and sound bar. The tv would turn back on but the sound bar wouldn't. If you are on cable you would not want to use it with the cable box or you guide and program information will be gone.
