• You just start by saying "Alexa" then ask your question. Like Alexa, what's the weather today. Or Alexa, play some classic rock music. It just needs connected to ur wifi.

• It has a wake up comand it could be alexa echo or amazon so you would say “alexa, question?” It will amswer

• You always have to start a conversation with the word "Alexa"...and then proceed with your question or request. We find that we have to be within the same room for it to understand our question or command. We have it connected to our living room light, and to the tv. And works fine. But Know that this requires additional accessories.

• Echo is awakened by her name, "Alexa" Then you simply ask your question or make your request in a normal tone of voice. "Alexa, what is the weather?" She can hear you from across the room, and you can set the volume control for her responses.
