• The Echo does not come with preloaded music or anything. You will need an account with a supported music service like Pandora, Apple music, Spotify, etc. You can connect the Echo with your music service and have the Echo play whatever you want by allowing the particular skill. It works pretty well.

• Needs Internet or wifi. If you have Pandora, you have to link them. To access an in depth range of music diversity, you may have to subscribe to amazon music. It can play music from numerous radio stations and genres of music. You can create playlist etc. I use it primarily for music.
