“I just bought a Samsung TV 4K ultra for my mom and she sight impaired and unable to use a remote. Is it possible for echo to be used to work the TV? Turn it on and off and change channels, lower and raise the volume?”

• I’m not sure if Alexa can but the Nest mini can because it connects to Smart Things which is Samsung

• My family has used our Echo Dot with an Insignia Smart TV and it can do all that. I’m unsure if the brand of TV makes a difference, but we’ve used our Dot to adjust volume and turn it on/off when we can’t find the remote. Occasionally, we’ll ask it to tune into a specific channel on our streaming service and it works.
