I wouldn't think so but as a nurse can I strongly suggest you consult your cardiologist on that type of question rather than the general public?

I have a Medtronic pacemaker and haven't had any issues. I spoke with my cardiologist and most current pacemakers aren't affected by external forces even metal detectors.

i do not think this would effect pacemaker as there is no microwave type signal to do so. check with your doctor.
