“Hi I just bought the Echo dot for my mom who's in an Extended care facility, she doesn't have a cell phone as it is hard for her to use.. How can I get this device set up since I am not allowed in because of covid-19? Will they just use their wi-fi?”

I don't know. Great question! You would have to set it up on your phone or laptop then move it and then connect it to their WIFI. That would be wonderful for her!

If she is relatively sharp mentally she will find the echo dot a NEW FRIEND FOR LIFE. Check out YouTubes on this product to get more familiar with how to set it up.
