If you have home wi-fi and buy "smart plugs", yes. https://www.amazon.com/Outlet-Required-Gosund-Upgraded-Version/dp/B07GRLQV47/ref=asc_df_B07GRLQV47/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=241986552631&hvpos=1o1&hvnetw=g&hvrand=819914996344584243&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9025236&hvtargid=aud-467077737785:pla-523050758294&psc=1
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You would need a smart adapter module that ties into your Alexa. Then you plug your lights into the module.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I has the ability to turn on/off lights but not without buying smart plugs or switches. If you wanted to control lamps and such, TP Link mas some affordable and reliable plugs that you simply plug into the wall, and plug in your lamp. Smart switches have also come down drastically in price, but require more installation (preferably by a licensed electrician). All of these options are available on Echo devices (so long as you have reliable WiFi in your home that is).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it requires a smart light switch or wall plugin to control your lights.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Short answer: Without any smart devices the short answer is no. Better answer: You do not need a "smart" house, you do need smart appliances or items. All you need to do is a couple smart lightbulbs and this will talk to them. These bulbs can replace and standard bulb you are currently using and then they are able to be controlled by this or even simply a smart phone.
