Not sure about your cable channels, but the Dot is great for online streaming via apps like Pandora, I Heart Radio, TuneIn, etc. I use TuneIn to listen to internet jazz stations from all over the world. More choices than I would ever need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not really if the streaming is from YouTube, Amazon wants you to pretend YouTube never existed. You bring up a curious question for me though. Why? Can’t Amazon realize that the freedom on the FireTV and Stick is what people want from these devices... You’ll never use Music Choice again if you get one of these. Presuming you pay for Amazon Music Unlimited every year. You simply say “Play a song by (whatever artist and title) and if it’s approved by Amazons limited selections of their “vast library” and it plays,You can create playlists for the songs that you like or simply say to Alexa “Play songs like this one” it then happens only she drifts away from what you like in favor of music they want to promote after a while. Then you have to redirect it back to the type you wanted
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you're streaming through Amazon music on the firestick, yes. If you can connect to your TV by bluetooth you should be able to stream "ny music"
