Can you get Alexa answer a question the way you want null

The instructions say you can. I haven’t tried it but so far this has been a fun device with decent sound. My toddler granddaughters have been able to get it to play whatever they want. I bought 2 and I can have it announce on the other one whatever I want. It records me and repeats it on the other end. I’m guessing that when you ask it to respond a certain way it will probably record your voice.

I'd have to say Alexa is like any woman, or perhaps any man, you have to learn how to talk to them in order to get the response you want. Sometimes she's really dense. She'll say "I don't know that" when you ask her something too difficult. But she has what they call skills. You can enable a lot of them through the app. But you do have to learn to talk to her, or ask for the right thing, like 'tell me a joke.' I bought some smart plugs that were Alexa enabled. I really like the fact that I can lay down in bed and roll over and snuggle up, and simply say "Alexa, turn off 'bed lamp'." And, she'll do that. Of course with smart plugs you have to give a name to each lamp. I've got four of them, so my lamps have interesting names like "Elmer" and "Walter" and one (the first) was just "lamp." But, the cool thing is you can tell the device, any device you have in your house, to do that and she will from any room. I can also tell her to wake me up with music at a certain time, and she'll do that. That's kind of handy if I wake up in the middle of the night and decide I don't want to sleep too long, or want to make an appointment. She will also play music from nearly any station you asked for, like in my case, Minnesota public radio, but really any station by their call letters. It's pretty well replaced the radios in our house. So, I'd say yes.
