Once you add the device to control the speaker, it will remember it every time it is within range. You wont have to worry about anything connecting to it unless you have the speaker remember that device. I currently have 6 speakers with 6 cell phones in the home and haven't had any problems.

Please try again later.yes Alma if everyone has an echo dot in there room then that is perfect. you could also enable the (DROP IN) feature. this allows you to use any echo dot from any room and call someone in the other room. ( keep in mind they all need to be under the same account. when setting them up just make sure to name them by their location or kids names
