No you just tell Alexa what you ant to hear and it plays. Some songs you have to be signed up for the Amazon upgrade but Alexa will tell you.

You don't install music. It pulls music from the sources you have, for instance Prime music account.

You would need to add the skill to your Alexa to play music. It works with amazon music and Pandora and more. You can connect it to iTunes, however this works only if you have a paid subscription to iTunes. You cannot connect it to play from your computer files of music. If there is a way, I have not found it.

No. Just ask your question or request the music you want to hear. You can ask for specific type of music, by artist or by part of the lyrics.
