Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello, venthead. The Echo Dot will not be able to call 911 for you, but you can use the Alexa app to add an "Emergency Contact". Alexa attempts to call and text your emergency contact when you or someone in your house says, "Alexa, call for help." To set up an emergency contact: 1. Open the Alexa app. 2. Select Communicate. 3. Select the contacts icon. 4. Select the menu icon, then select Emergency Contact. 5. Follow the on-screen instructions. Your emergency contact receives a text message notifying them that they've been added as your emergency contact. If you change your emergency contact's information in your phone's address book, it won't update with Alexa until the next time you open the Alexa app. Have a great day!
