Once it powers back on fully, ask it to play music again and see if it works. The other issue could be WiFi related. If the device is in a spot with poor WiFi connection, the device might start to struggle to continuously play music. Try moving the device to a different location that may get a better signal (away from walls, metal, or other interference).
