• It needs an outlet. It comes with its own adapter.

• Hi there! Yes, you can listen to Pandora on this speaker as well as many other music streaming services like Amazon Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and many more. When you get the device, you will download the Alexa App on your smartphone and select what music service you'd like Alexa to play. This device has to be plugged in and connected to WIFI to work.
