“Does this particular speaker records conversation without you knowing. Meaning while sitting in a room talking, does it records whatever being said ? If it does how can I get the speaker to play back the recordings?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It only activates if you use the wake word…usually “Alexa”. It cannot play back what was just said in a room. It basically can answer questions that you could look up on the web and do skills that you set it up to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can, but only to a small extent when the device thinks that it has been given the cue word on accident. It’s usually a very short recording as the devices figures out its mistake rather quickly.Recordings can be viewed on the Alexa app.
