“What is the effective range for this extender. My WiFi is weak at the far end of my house and I want to try this as an interim step before I try mesh. the distance is 100 feet but the room for it is on the floor above. Assuming it halves the signal”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine works at 150 feet in side my garage. My signal is phone company Wi fi so not great sometimes. It just shuts off, and comes back on if you ask it to.

To utilize the Eero built in feature the Echo Pop offers, your current wifi network must use a compatible eero router and your Echo device must stay in range of a compatible eero device. You will need to link your eero and Amazon accounts and manage eero Built-in from the eero mobile application to use this feature. eero Built-in compatible Echo devices support up to 1,000 sq. ft. of additional coverage, speeds up to 100 Mbps, and 10 or fewer connected devices in the 5 GHz band.
