• There is no power backup if there is a power outage. It has to remained plugged in for use.

• Hi Dimple! While several third party battery pack accessories are available for the Echo devices, they are very limited in what they can do without an internet connection. If you've got the rest of the network solved already, I would suggest searching for "Echo Show battery pack" online to check out what's available. I hope that helps, have a great rest of your day!
