I think this specific model is just glitchy. I have other Amazon display models and only this one constantly freezes in the middle of viewing content or disconnects from all devices

I suspect in the beginning Ring gave you a free trial of their paid app & after that you may not be paying for the level that supports that feature. Look on Ring.com for comparison of the plans. Or call Amazon customer service, ask for Ring Support, & discuss it with themz
