Why is it better than the old one? null

It has a lower price and fits in smaller places.

Thi has better sound than the Echo Spot or Echo Dot, but it is not better than the Original or 2nd generation show. This show is 5.5" as opposed to 7" or 10" models.. the sound is decent though. If you are upgrading from a spot to a show but not looking for the larger screen, this is perfect. plus cheaper price than the spot. It looks like a mini Show 2nd Gen, but has a few kwurks that were worked out better such as camera cover and privacy switch. Also better night mode.
