“How does this notify you of an incoming video call? Will the other connected devices (echo dots) announce an incoming call or do you have to be in front of the echo show to see there’s an incoming call?”

all devices will notify you. I called my friend via alexa. Her cell phone rang as well as her echo show and her echo dot. The echo dot announced my name stating that i was calling. but they have to be in your alexa contact list.

Please try again later.The echo dot will announce the call you can answer it but you just won’t be able to see the video from the echo dot you could see the video on the echo itself but if you’re trying to talk on an Echo Dot it it will only give audio naturally but yes it will alert you to an incoming video call as well
