• Yes it does, it’s like any other device when you ask it to do something (“hey google, what’s the weather or “hey Siri call mom” etc)

• If you mean recipes then yes it does give you recipes it gives you so many amazing tips all you have to do is ask. It also does play music. It will even play music to help you fall asleep again all you have to do is ask and it will complete the task if Alexa can’t complete the task she will let you know. Very surprised how great this little device works. Hope this helps
