No, this has Alexa built in. It has all of the features of an echo, but also has the video screen for watching videos, viewing pictures, etc.

Alexa is enabled on this device. You do need an Amazon account and a Smartphone to get full use of Alexa. If you want Alexa to perform functions via the Show, you have to add other Smart devices (such as iRobot Rumba, or a Nest smart thermostat, etc). Alexa can detect these devices and then you can give voice commands such as “Alexa, start the Rumba”. Note: you do not necessarily have to purchase an Amazon Prime account, the free account will do.

No this is another version of an alexa. Works out the box as long as you have WiFi

No Alexa is built in to this device. You just need to set it up and you'll be able to ask it to do what you want like set a timer or whats the weather... ect.
You can also have her answer to Alexa, Echo, Computer, and one more...but you'll need to configure that within the settings. By default its Alexa
