In regards to your question about compatibility with Echo Show 8 and your other devices I can only speak to the Ring equipment as Ring is an Amazon company. They are definitely compatible and can be discovered via the Alexa App under Devices or by simply saying to your Echo Show "Alexa, discover devices." As for compatibility with other brands, you can usually know by seeing if the device or packaging says "Works with Alexa". You would have to verify that with the brands of devices you have since there are a multitude of devices that are compatible. Many of them will be found in the same steps listed above if compatible!
