At this time YouTube is not available on the echo spot, neither any other stream videos, but if you have a fire stick you can use the echo spot to command Alexa to open those stream services on your tv . And yes there’s a button on the top to turn off the mic.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.YouTube and Netflix are not on the echo spot. YouTube was originally on the Echo Show, but it was removed. Netflix was never on the Show. I currently have all of the Echo devices including the spot, and when I tell her to mute the microphone, she doesn’t quite do that via voice. You can always deactivate the microphone via the mute button on the top.
