To answer this question properly, the Bible app will work if you download offline bible editions (KJV, MSG, NIV, etc..). Only if you need an internet connection will she not be able to use it. Youtube Red will allow you to download for offline viewing but it costs money. Regular Youtube will need an active internet connection.

If she downloads the bible, it will be on her Kindle, and she can read it as long as she has power. YouTube is an online thing...you have to be able to go online to use it. She won't be able to access YouTube unless she has internet.
