Yes, just make sure in your Amazon settings that you have selected your new device to download to, otherwise your downloads will be sent to your old preferred setting. Name your device with a name that is different from the old device that you are replacing, or if you have multiple devices, then give each device it's own name so you can sort through them with ease. If you've accidentally downloaded to the incorrect device, you can redownload from your Amazon settings, not from your tablet. Amazon can help you if you need it. If you're setting up for the first time, Amazon should recognize the unit as new and ask you during set up if you wish to link to your library.
