• No… you can setup wifi on tablet in settings ..all you need is you password for your wifi and after that your allset to use it

• Hi -, If you know your Wifi username and password from your provider you can enter it on the settings app on your Fire 7 tablet's home page. A Wifi connection is required for use of the silk browser and other internet required apps and games. Hope that helps!
