I added 6 games to the two I purchased for grandchildren. I purchase 2 from Google Play and 4 from Amazon. They work great. You can use Micro Sd cards. I have 32gb card in one, but can purchase larger gb.

You can play kids games but this is the lowest grade kindle out there and is really their basic e reader. If you are also wanting it for games purchase the 8 HD because the processor is so much better.
