“Is it reasonable that I should have to wait 6 to 8 hours for Netflix to load on this thing...and 15 to 20 minutes just to obtain internet access...even though all "apps" are closed? I like it...but with obvious reservations. Any suggestions?”

Try resetting it and if that doesn't work try sending it back because it shouldn't be working like that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I didn't have that problem with mine. Could it be your wifi signal wasn't strong enough or it was losing the connection to your wifi somehow? It also could have been slow because of downloading too many things at once (I don't know if you were doing that or not though). Hope you can figure it out though.
