“Can the Amazon Fire Tablet use Microsoft Word? I am looking at purchasing a cheaper tablet in order to take notes in class - just for use of Microsoft Word to type and save documents for schooling. Does this Tablet allow me to do that?”

• Yes but it requires the free MS Word App. that uses The Cloud to access the Word program. Your work is also stored in your Cloud account. You can download your work from the Cloud to your computer easily. Your Cloud account is free for the first few Gigabites of storage.

• You can install free apps like OfficeSuite or Kingsoft WPS, which are both compatible with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint! Just be sure to SAVE the files in those MS formats instead of the default format.

• NO, it cannot. It is just an ereader and you can watch videos and apps on it.
