You can download most of the same apps like that are on an android or ios device. There are a few apps are not on amazons app store that are on the others but majority of the most popular apps will be on it like Netflix, youtube, and facebook, just to name a few. If there are specific apps look it up online or contact amazon. Their app store consists of thousands of games, fun and creative apps, movies and books. You can download the Netflix app on this tablet and watch movies and shows with no problem. You can insert a micro sd card up to 128gb. This tablet should be perfect for your nephew to play games and watch movies.
